PRISON CAKE
My friend´s 37th birthday is tomorrow, so I´m going to make my first cake in prison to help her celebrate. It´s amazing what you cqan do with very few ingredients and a microwave!
Ingredients:
l lb. pkg vanilla wafers
1 can soda (I used cola, but you can use your favorite flavor)
chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
Put cookies in a microwave safe bowl and crush them into fine crumbs. Add soda slowly stirring until it is the consistency of cake batter. (You might not use all the soda). Add the chocolate chips.
Bake in microwave for 6 minutes. Check to see if done. You may need to bake for a few more minutes, until the cake is pulling away from the sides of the bowl. Let cool before removing from bowl. You can add frosting if you like canned frosting, or you can make your own using cream cheese and juice powder. If the cake thickens, you can put it in the microwave for a minute or two more and it will soften
